I got to hang at the Bloggers Hangout event in London

I got invited to a Bloggers Hangout event in London on the 25th June where a lot of brands were showcasing their products and giving out testers for free and goodiebags. I’ve discovered so many interesting and amazing products and I got to try them all! If you have read my blog before you might know that I am a big fan of events, especially those with free drinks and nibbles!

IMG_9580The bloggers hangout event were held at The Strand Gallery beside Embankment gardens in London. One of the ladies in the door grated me with some information about the event and what I could discover when I arrived. There were 2 floors with stands of different brands and I spent a few hours long enough to get to try and test everything! The bloggers hangout lasted for 3 days, but I could only attend one of the days!

The first product I got to see was “REGENERATE” which is a brand for healthier and stronger teeth. I received a goodie bag of Regenerate products like boosting serums and toothpaste. The products are meant to be very good to prevent the teeth from acid attacks and enamel erosion. I haven’t tried the products yet but I will write another post about the products in a few weeks time.IMG_9577I can’t wait to test them!

One of the things that I came across was a slush machine with slush-cocktails. Yes you read that right, slush with alcohol, how clever is that?? They had different flavours and I had to tweet my order, I decided to go for a mix of strawberry and pineapple (I think it was?) and it tasted like a sunny day on the beach. It was amazing and I even suffered brain and chest freeze just to have the sensational drink, but it was very much worth it!

IMG_9585I think the business will be truly successful and I can’t wait to get my hands on some other slush cocktails in the future! If you haven’t heard of them before you need to check them out on twitter @Cocktailmaniauk

Where there are drinks there is cake! Cupcakes. I tried cupcakes inserted with rum for the first time and it was really nice. Perfect to have for a party, wedding or maybe night in with the girls?

These cupcakes were only for the display, but I would of definitely eaten them if they were up for grabs! Adorable anyway!

How cute are these cupcakes? They sure look yummy too!

I got to try and see so many amazing things, and one of the brands that I came over was Sass And Belle, which is a shop with things for the more “retro” personality. If you like things like umbrella decor for drinks and pineapple and watermelon glasses then this shop is for you! They have everything for your bedroom, kitchen, living room just to bring some colour into your home. I am thinking about contacting them about having a competition on my blog where you can win something sassy and retro!

I will show you what I received in my goodiebag in a blog post!

There were lined up many goodiebags for the guests and they had a full stand with their latest products!

IMG_9608They had so many cute and awesome things! How cute is that lunch box?

IMG_9672They had a candy bar on the first floor where you could pick and mix from the different jars.

Perfect for a nice little treat on the way home! I also got introduced to Pink Parcel which is a subscription box for girls on their period. The box get sent to your door every month with nice little treats like chocolate and candy bars. You also get binds and tampons in the box and a nice little bag you can have them in. The best part about the box is that it’s not only the perfect box for when Aunt Red is visiting, but it has little gifts like mascaras, face masks, moisturisers, lipsticks etc.  Overall a box with everything you need on your period! We did talk about having a competition on my blog as well, which I think that many of my readers will appreciate! Would you have liked that?

IMG_9684 This is the original box and it is the perfect subscription box to make the period a little easier and less “dramatic”. I also received a fun little bag with the text Classic Period Drama, oh well …

At the end of the day I got to choose a few products to put in my little “Pink Parcel” box to receive home! I will show you later in a post what I chose.

I enjoyed the 5 hours at the event and I am looking forward to the next bloggers hangout! I got to see many other brands but I might have to save those for another post.

Do you want to invite me to your events? Please send me an email to contact@brandobeauty.uk 🙂

Have you been to “Bloggers Hangout” and what did you get? Any of these brands you would like to try?

Wow what a fantastic event and sounds like you had an amazing time – everything is so pretty!

  • I’ve been to their events before and they’ve all been lovely 🙂

  • Kelly

Glad they spoiled you! Though I find it slightly funny they gave you all a tooth enamel erosion kit…and then proceeded to load you upon cupcakes and slushies. I’m not sure if I can think of two foods which are harder on tooth enamel! Now…if only someone would do fun events for green/eco lifestyle bloggers! Enjoy all the treats and goodies they gave you!
