Christmas gift guide for makeup lovers

Christmas is just a few weeks away and I thought I could share my Christmas guides with you this week. Starting with presents that are perfect for makeup lovers or for those that want to get more into makeup. If you didn’t get to buy most of your presents during Black Friday you have a new chance now.

This article is dedicated for those who love makeup and like to try new products. To make it easier for my readers to find the perfect presents, I will write this guide into 2 categories – face and eyes.

When you are buying presents a good advice is to think about what skin tone, skin type and skin condition she or he has. Buying facial makeup products can be a challenge, so I advise you to take these things into caution. Not all products are suitable for everyone.

There are many products you can use for the face, whether it is primers, foundations or powders. I have made a collage with my favorite products that I think will be an ideal Christmas present.

1. Morphe Brushes Foundation/Contour Palette

This foundation palette from Morphe Brushes is so good, it is a great example of contour palettes that are just as good as high-end ones like Anastasia Beverly Hills.  It is a great palette for contouring and it is very easy to use. It is known for its light texture and gives a natural result! This palette only cost £18.00 and you can get it here

2. NYX Pro Foundation Mixer

This product is my absolute favorite and is always a go-to product when I need a lighter or darker shade than my usual skin tone. It is really brilliant, just dab a little “invisible” sample onto the palm of your hand and mix it with one of your liquid foundations. As a result, you get a lighter or darker shade and can apply it straight onto your face. I recently bought a foundation from Mac and it was in a shade darker than my skin tone, so this product came to rescue! You can get the product here

3. Makeup Revolution Ultra Cream Contour Palette

I have been using this contour palette for months and it is still a favorite. Makeup Revolution is a brilliant brand that sells affordable and good products that are just as good as high-end products. I can’t really tell the difference, besides the price. You can get the palettes in different shades so it fits the right skin tone. You can get the palette here

4. Makeup Revolution Luxury Banana Powder

This banana powder is really good for contouring. Contouring is one of the things that are very big in the makeup world right now, so this powder is a must-have! You can get it here

5. Claudalie Hule Divine Oil

I absolutely love this oil! I received in my subscription box and I use it all the time. The divine oil can be used on the face and body. I tend to use it like a “primer” on my face before applying foundation. This oil is so good and is worth the money! You can get a full size here

6. Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlight

This highlighter is one of the best I have tried. Not only is it affordable it also creates a great highlight that doesn’t look too over the top (depends on how much you use of course). You can get the highlighter here

img_49467. Este Lauder Double Wear Foundation

I love this foundation and it is one of the best I have tried! It is a little stiff in price but it is absolutely worth the money. The foundation does last for 6 months depending on how much you apply each time. If you are looking for a gift that will last and is high-end this is perfect! It covers perfectly and give you a natural result. You can get the foundation here

One of the great things about eye makeup is that you can get so many products, especially with eye shadows you can mix and match how you please. I am a massive fan of nude palettes and have probably around 50 in my makeup drawer, everything from small to bigger palettes.

You can go right with eyeshadows, even for gifts because it is very versatile. Here are my favorite products for the eyes.

8. Morphe Brushes Neutral Palette (35N)

This neutral eyeshadow palette is perfect for those who likes nude shades and want eyeshadows for everyday and party. I love this palette because it is really good and the colors are very pigmented. The palette is affordable and it also comes in different colors if you want something different. You can get the palette here

9. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Duo Brush

This brush is really good, perfect with the Dip Brow Pomade from the same brand. It is very easy to use and perfect to give your eyebrow the shape it deserves. I love this one! You can get it here

10. Eyeshadow x 9: Amber Times Nine

This palette is super gorgeous and a perfect go-to eyeshadow palette for travel or to have in the bag when you are out and about. It only cost £25.00 – Get it here

img_494911. Maybelline Palette The Nudes

This nude palette is a gem! It is my favorite palette atm, because it fit into any bag and also have gorgeous shades. I can’t believe the quality you can get for only £9.00, absolutely blown away! Both affordable and pigmented.  You can get it here

img_495312. Rimmel London Exaggerate Eye Liner

This waterproof eyeliner is so good! It is the perfect tool to finish any makeup looks. This eyeliner has everything you need in an eyeliner and it also affordable. Even though it is waterproof it easily gets removed from the eyes without any fuzz. I think everyone needs this one in their makeup bag! You can get it here

13. Beauty Bakerie Sprinkles

This glitter is perfect to make any eye makeup look more festive. You can add it over and under your eyes and it is also affordable. I mean who doesn’t love some sparkles? You can get it here

14. Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade

This product is heaven sent! I can’t describe how much I love it, I paid £15.00 for the gem and it has lasted for a year. I probably need to refill now before it goes too dry. But this product is always something that the makeup lover will appreciate and it is also a high-end brand. Get this product here
