KIKO Cosmetics – Pigmented Eyeshadows For Everyday Looks

Hey Beauties!

How are you this lovely Thursday? I have big news to share with you! This morning I received a very nice email from a journalist writing for NY Times and Rebateszone, he asked me if it was okay if they listed my blog in their Top 50 Beauty Bloggers Infographic. I couldn’t believe my eyes what I was reading, I am honored to be a part of this!

This is the biggest my blog and I have experienced so far, I am genuinely grateful for every opportunity my blog is giving me. I could never have done it without my Brand & Beauties, my dear readers. I will have a new giveaway soon, to give back to you 🙂

You might have heard of KIKO Cosmetics which is a new brand that recently was launched in London. The brand is originally from Milano and I came over the store in Oxford Street the other day. I treated myself with some makeup from them, and I am surprised of the quality you get for so little money.

I chose some neutrals for everyday looks, and a darker shade for smokey eyes. The colors are pigmented and last longing, the quality is good. I got this when they had sale and it was £2.50 each. How insanely cheap isn’t that?

Here you can see swatches of the colors

Darker light:

The light is always darker in the bathroom, so I took a picture that you see above to see the difference, some of the eye shadows have definitely more shimmer in them.PicMonkey Collage

The white shadow is a good base color, perfect for building up the every day look.

The other nude shade is perfect to use as top base.

I used a darker shade on the outside of the base shadow. You can also use it all over the eyes if you want a more stronger look, but I prefer when it’s more blended.

I can show you in another post how to do the smokey eyes with the shadow I got from KIKO. Hope you like the makeup look 🙂

What do you think of the eye makeup look? Have you heard of KIKO Cosmetics?

I have heard great things about Kiko but haven’t had a chance to try them yet! The swatches look great though with lovely pigmentation x http://www.adventuresofariotgrrrl.com

  • Love it! Kiko is still not available in Croatia (I hope that’ll change soon), but I do own a nail polish from them and I adore it 🙂 Thanks for sharing xx

I love the way you’ve shown a step by step of the shadows on- such a clever way to showcase the shades! I keep meaning to try out these shadows- everyone seems to love them, you’ve definitely made me want to go and have a look when I’m in London this week, great post! xx

  • The white colour is so strong and pigmented! I very rarely use eye shadow but I bet they’d be great 🙂

I love Kiko but I’ve only tried their long lasting stick eyeshadows – Golden Beige is my favourite. I’ll definitely be grabbing a few these next payday. I can’t believe how affordable they are.

I bought some Kiko products 2 years back when I had visited Italy. It was on sale at the moment and the shop was quiet crowded.
I was happy with the price and so bought a few things and they turned out good as well 🙂
