I was so lucky to be invited to LUSH blog event, to try and talk about their products. It was a lovely evening with nibbles, drinks and chatting. I was impressed with their makeup and hair products, and I had no idea that they sell mascaras, lipsticks and highlighters.
How are you this Easter Sunday? I hope you are enjoying the long weekend, I certainly am. I got invited to a LUSH event yesterday and brought my friend Millie with me. It was a very nice evening, we got to try all of their products and see how they make their face masks and bath bombs. Snacks were lined up everywhere and there was a selfie station where you could take pictures and promote one of their signs for animal rights. I met a few interesting people and other bloggers which was very fun. It was a lovely event!
Everyone at LUSH was so nice and I learned a lot about their ingredients which was very interesting. I am looking forward to more events like these!
All of LUSH’s products are based on 100% natural ingredients and are not tested on animals. Which I think is a deal breaker!
The thing I like about LUSH is that they have different themes in their products, for example each “flavour” of the bath bombs has a different outcome. So when you put the bomb in the bath and it dissolves in water sometimes girly features like hearts, glitter and flowers comes out of it. How cool is that?
I have tried a few bath bombs and I think they give a little sparkle to your bath routine, my favorite is the blue and white one (pictured) they make the water look like the oceans in Hawaii. The prices are under £10.00 and I think it is a nice treat for yourself when you want to have a relaxing spa day. It also makes your skin feel soft and pampered. I love these cute lush bombs.
They also had different soaps, formed as cupcakes, candy etc. I think everything in LUSH looks so edible, the first time I went in a LUSH store I thought it was candy. Good thing I didn’t eat anything!
How lovely is this soap? It looks like chocolate, wonder why I want to eat everything haha!
In this corner they had all of their cosmetics. I found it interesting that every lipstick and mascara looked like skin care bottles, not the sort of design normal mascaras have with the thin applicator.
They also sell Toothy Tablets, which I haven’t tried yet but I have to admit they very interesting.
The event was full of surprises, and I got to chose a product to take home with me, along with my full packed goodie bag. I can’t wait to show you what I got!
I definitely recommend that you try LUSH, because their products are vegan and contain so many things that are good for you. Now I have a bunch of products to test for you guys 🙂
THIS GAL IS NOW 23!!
My boyfriend woke me up with birthday song, and told me to come downstairs to open presents. I was almost in tears when I saw what they had bought me, a new Canon EOS 1200 D Camera... I have wanted a DSLR camera for so long, since my old one stopped working. I have been using a bridge camera, but it was such hassle to change batteries all the time and it always died when I was taking it out and about. Now I can’t wait to take better photos, and take my blog to the next stage! My birthday has been wonderful 🙂
What do you think of the event? Have you tried LUSH products before?
