Makeup Revolution Palettes – Contouring And Concealing

Makeup Revolution
I have been using contouring and concealing palettes from Makeup Revolution for a few months now, I can with hand on heart say that it has become one of my holy grail products that I can’t stop buying! Makeup Revolution has everything you need for contouring and I personally wouldn’t swap it for one of the higher end brands. These are my thought on their palettes.

Makeup Revolution sell most of their palettes in store, but the one I particularly needed had to be ordered. I always buy from Boots or Superdrug. You can also buy directly from their online store here

Ultra Cream Contour Palette

Since my dearest cream contour palette had run out of the “banana” shade which is the yellow toned concealer you use on areas you want to high light, I had to get some more. I use this shade on the S-zone, on the nose and the T-zone to create a lighter complexion.

I use the darker shades for sculpting the areas in my face, like the outer nose line up to the eyebrows, under the lips and the cheekbones to create shadows. These are more of the basic steps in contouring, before you use the blusher and powder.  I think this palette is amazing and my skin doesn’t feel greasy or cakey. You can get the palette here

Ultra Cover And Conceal – Light Medium

The other palette I bought is the Cover and Concealing palette, this is the perfect palette for covering blemishes, redness and other impurities. It is especially good under the eyes and creates a natural complexion. Finish with a setting powder on top to give it extra coverage. The palette is exceptional for sensitive skin and does cover all of my redness in the face. The cream contour palettes doesn’t go to rough on the skin and makes the skin look flawless.

I got very positive reaction on my contour makeup look that I have been creating with the Ultra Cream Contour Palette. I like that all of Makeup Revolution’s palettes are affordable and that you don’t need to spend a fortune to get the professional contour look.

I also bought some new setting and makeup shower sprays from Freedom Makeup, I read online that they got really good reviews so I had to get them.

– I have been looking after a really good setting spray for my makeup looks and this is without no doubt one of my favorites. It doesn’t feel to heavy on the skin and smells fabulous! You can get the setting spray here, (sold out, but might come back)

– The other spray I went for is the Pro Studio Brush Shower, this spray is perfect to remove any old makeup from your makeup brushes and keep them clean after use. The spray also smells fantastic!

I love the branding, the silver and black make it look very clean and fashionable. It will look good on any makeup table. You can also keep the sprays in your bag when you are on the go!

Hope you liked this review and that is inspired you to give the products a try!

I really love Makeup Revolution and Freedom Makeup – they are the best brands and so so cheap! Good dupes for bigger products too. I do powder contouring, but I might give creme contouring a go!
