Top 5 Makeup Trends That Never Goes Out Of Fashion

We all have one product or clothing we still use, like the pair of black high knee boots you bought 5 years ago. It’s traditional, it’s classic and it never goes out of fashion!

In this post I will take you back a few years, finding out which makeup trends people still are following today. We all have that one special concealer, lipstick or mascara we can’t live without – It’s time to reveal which makeup products most people have on their makeup table.

This one is a classic. I am sure we all have at least one red lipstick in our makeup bag. Red lipsticks are not only a good fashion trick to get someone’s attention, it is also sending out a sexy but confident message. The red lipstick is a bold choice, and there are many shades to choose from that will suit your style. Some are wearing a red lippie for Christmas parties, other are wearing it every day. Nevertheless we can all agree that it has been a favorite through the years!

Another makeup product that has been bought a lot over the years since we started wearing it on the lips, is the concealer. The lighter the better. The concealer is the perfect tool for hiding dark circles, yellow or gray undertones and other things we want to cover. The concealer has been loved by many and is still in everyone’s makeup bag to this day. We all want a lighter and flawless complexion, applying it under the eyes like it was foundation. It is safe to say that the concealer is people’s all time favorite!

The blue eyeliner has always been applied under the eyes to make them look bigger and bolder. I especially use blue eyeliner under my eyes to bring out the blue in my eyes, which is a trick I have used for years. If you are not a big fan of smokey eyes and black eyeliner under the eyes, you will love this makeup trend. This is something every makeup artist should have in their books, take notes because this trend isn’t going anywhere!

Most people combine bronzer with contouring which is one of the hottest ways to do your makeup today. The bronzer has always been popular, even before contouring became a thing. You can cheat yourself to defined cheekbones by using a brush to create shadows with the bronzer. I remember in high school when it was popular to apply it everywhere you wanted some “glow”. The bronzer is a traditional and timeless makeup product that I am sure everyone has used once in their life. If you feel a little dull one evening, try applying some bronzer to your cheeks and it will give you a sunkissed look.

Going for a smokey look is always a bold choice. It’s the perfect makeup look for parties and will look even better with a lipstick in a light pink or nude. The smokey eyes came originally from the goths, wearing all black clothes, rivets and black eye makeup. It has since the 70’s escalated quickly into the fashion world and taken over the industry! From VOGUE to the catwalk, you can never go wrong with a smokey eye look.

There are other trends that we love but these were the most popular ones through the years. If you want to try any of these trends and don’t have the right makeup for it, you can schroll up to the top of this article and look through my makeup collection which I have chosen for you.

Hope you found this post inspiring and that it made you want to try something new!
